Morning all - 'tis bright and sunny but a bit on the cold side here. I've just got half of my garage back - son's go kart has been moved to a storage unit his mate owns, which is nearer to the kart track. I can now start filling the garage up with rubbish again

Evening all, arrived safely to the afternoon heat of 28C. Quite a pleasant flight, the plane was half full which meant I had a row of seats to myself and didn’t have anyone next to me breaking wind or coughing/chucking up. I had to decline the breakfast, a meal of a waffle, one sausage and scrambled eggs with spinach swimming in grease. On arrival in Nairobi, every single passenger received a body scan and a temperature check. I was asked to show my Yellow Fever Certificate. Fortunately all of my jabs are up to date. Back at the house and decided to put the news on, what a mistake. There was something on about Meghan and Prince Harry having a long goodbye. Does it really matter what they are doing and who cares, when there is so much else going on in the world.

Have a nice evening, won’t you

Afternoon all, been dry all day, but turned cold this afternoon and we have light rain now. Turns out my new van DOES have a smart alternator,so can’t use normal split charge relay. Rather than pay c £200 for a battery to battery charger, I will buy a second leisure battery for about £70 and just keep charging the alternate battery each night so I always have a fully charged battery.

Why not fit a solar panel on the roof Rich, this will keep the leisure battery topped up, I used one in my van and it worked a treat.

I know some do this but my ladders.would obstruct it. Plus we dont get enough sun in winter to keep it topped up.
