Evening all, been a day of wind and rain with a bit of sun. Then it absolutely chucked it down tonight.

Evening Gents, been a nice evening here, had a nice walk with the dogs when I got hoe from work, managed to plug T4 in to the ZT and prime the fuel burner as it got upset when the fuel pump failed yesterday.

Evening all, It's chucking it down out there & that wind has been with us for weeks now
It's howling down the bedroom chimney.

I've been on train driving duties over the Pennines into Stalybridge with 1500 tons of fuel oil from Teeside in Winter weather. supping a cold bottle of Henry's cider

I wonder how 1500 tons equates to gallons, British gallons that is. In 1982 someone walked into an office in the Pentagon and asked for 8 "million" gallons/week of avtur for the foreseeable future.

Morning one and all - it's a bit nippy here, but no sign of the snow showers which were threatened overnight.
However, we do have red sky in the morning........
Well, it's bright pink anyway, so a poor weather day in prospect if you believe shepherds or sailors.
Semi-early school run for me - should be back in the armchair by about 9.15am

Cool

Morning everyone.

Thought I best get out of bed.

Blue sky has greeted me this morning. Might get myself out today. Have a trip out somewhere, but first breakfast.
