Cool

Got the b’day cards posted. Almost like a ghost town down the Street. Still people walking about with there children.
Came home, to find children playing in the street. When will the parents learn.

Anyway done some gardening, got the grass cut and done some weeding. Heard the doorbell sound, not expecting anyone. But as I went to have a look my neighbour, Gerry, shouted across the road that he had left me a bag of shopping, just some essential bits. How kind. I wanted to know how much I owed. No charge he said, just our way of helping out our elderly neighbours, never thought of myself being elderly.

Opened the bag to find bread, bacon, cheese, paracetamol, 2 tins of soup, 4 pack of loo rolls, liquid soap, a bottle of wine and a Easter Egg. I will repay them when we get out of the other side of this.

No less than you would do for them Bob.

Evening all, it's been a beautiful day here, managed to get some gardening done & mowed the back lawns but there's been a fly in the ointment.

There's been a teenager across the back kicking a ball against the fence for the last hour with such force it's breaking the fence panels The noise is horrendous, I could happily go over there & strangle the little **** & kick both of the parents (who are watching him) into next week

Roast chicken dinner for tea tonight

Louis & me are going to watch 'Red Son' where Superman landed in the Soviet Union instead of the USA

Can you not just shout over the fence politely “would you mind not doing that please lads, the fence isn’t very strong”

It's their fence Rich across the back, I went upstairs to look out the bedroom window to see what was going on as you could hear their fence panels snapping, His parents were just stood there with arms folded watching him Their next door neighbour who share the fence were having a go at them about the damage.

Evening Andy - we're slowly heading towards the end of our third day of lockdown. If only the weather would warm up a few degrees, we could at least have a paddle about in the garden. The bad news is that Angela seems to think that being isolated means plenty of time for stripping wallpaper off TWO bedrooms in preparation for re-decorating
How's Debs coping with the maniacs out there?

Evening Rod, Deb says it’s either people getting aggressive due to lack of stock, or shoppers thanking the staff for all their hard work!

Bare shelves are the norm at the moment as the distribution centres don’t have the stock to send.

Nice morning again, bit frosty though. On holiday this week, was supposed to be on a day trip to York today, ah it’ll still be there when this is all over.

I know how you feel.
I'm meant to be up at the boat today and tomorrow and then for my 50th Birthday at the weekend with Ros.

Due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus we are practicing not making any unnecessary travel.
It looks very much like this will be made compulsory rather than advisory very soon anyhow!

As you say, it will still be there when this is all over and hopefully so will the vast majority of the population, if we all do our best to stay safe and follow advice given.

On a more positive note.......Still sunny out there this morning
