kv6 engine and auto box
can anyone tell me is the kv6 engine and auto box that is fitted to the rover sterling coupe the same as the one fitted to the mg ztt i have today got my self a ztt and i have the coupe already is dyeing but the engine and box are in great condition so if i can use them i will drop it out of the coupe

I stand to be corrected here, but I believe that although the engine is the same in the 800 ( provided that it is indeed the kv6 and not Honda's 2.7) it was heavily revised for the 75, so unsure if it's the direct swap it would appear. And dropping the engine from the 800 into the ZT would be a retrograde step as the early kv6 's were disasterous.
Also isn't the gearbox a 4speed Honda unit? |

the 800 KV6 is different to the 75 derived unit
