Default Where is everyone going?

The club is falling into decline.lots of repected members have ceased posting, either banned or moved on to other interests
Its seems strange when as a club member if you mention a certain banned members name the post gets quickly deleted, but on the other hand, its OK as a moderator to spend weekends and socialize with the same member, funny old world
Me, I do not post as much, why you ask,I asked for a poppy to be put on the club banner for 11/11 but was chastised for asking, and told that the club do more than enough to remember our fallen by supplying a poppy avatar,( can we ever do enough for those who gave their lives for us).
Its ok to have candles on club birthday, snow at xmas, but a simple Poppy to show our respects on the banner for 1 day a year was a no go."

Lighten up a bit please, you have only been in the club for about 5 mins. Stop talking it down.

Instead of moaning about it why not contribute something in the technical section to help.

My first rule of using forums is to try and avoid getting involved on the personal side.

Whilst I agree with your thoughts in general..
Why should you choose to critisise what anyone does with their time and who they choose to socialise with at an event that had no official connection with the owners club?

Wink

You can see from the outside in how this club is ran, posts or no posts. There are obviously other forums and other ways to communicate.

You lot are all seen as old men, getting in with your own self absorbed club. Rover tinted glasses, ban anything that disagrees with the circlejerk.

Facebook allows for a more free, more useful and more up to date way to communicate. You need to move on, all forums are going this way.

Your attitude to anyone who dares not agree with the concencus is what drives people away. Until you learn that good luck polishing each other’s egos. Much like this post, the only things that are not deleted are the ones that inflate egos or pay the club money. You’ve become the new .org.

Reading the above posts, do you wonder why people are leaving this site? Considering the language and tone, which is quite typical, it is often unpleasant to be around.

Oi who are you calling old? I'm young enough to have attended a Beatles concert and what's face book?
Cheers Ian

Ian I have not mentioned any names or have criticised any named individual,or mentioned any non club meets etc, what I have said is fact and what actually happens .

The big issue here is the disgraceful attitude to the Poppy issue that I raised last year.
