Default Advance Notice of 2018 Spring National

Hi all
In response to all those that have asked about the 2018 Spring National..

Here are brief details of the date and venue..
Reebs will post the full and complete thread when he is able to find a few minutes to put it all together.

Date of the national is Sunday 6th May 2018
This is the weekend of the May day bank Holiday thus allowing members the chance to drive back on the 7th rather than having to rush home after the Sunday national
Venue is Hollycombe Steam in the Country.. Liphook Hants
http://www.hollycombe.co.uk/
Details will follow but I'm hoping to make a weekend of it with a run out on the Saturday possibly to Brooklands Museum.
It is also very likely that the venue will be able to offer basic facilities for tents and touring caravans.

I've listed it now because I know a few of you may need to book time off work etc by the early part of the year.

Cheers Ian

I select the locations Rav and they are spread around the country so that every one get a chance to attend a national meet.
If you remember the spring national last year was at Eden Camp in North Yorkshire but quite a few of us southerners made the journey, a round trip of 700 miles for me. Why not have a run down South for the weekend, after all some of us make the trip to Scotland to see our friends North of the border and I already have my name down for the Gretna meet in July.
I'm sorry but it's a real can't please all of the people all of the time situation when I try to arrange a national meet.
Cheers Ian

When the attendance list is started, myself, Kirsty and Teddy would like to be added to the list. Hollycombe Steam In The Country looks really good and there are some good videos on youtube showing the various attractions at Hollycombe.
