Default Drivers Cup holder....

Hi All,

I've placed a thread in the ITEMS WANTED section, but to increase viewer rate I've posted here as well.

I have a 2004 Facelift CDTi Conny SE Saloon.

I'm on the hunt for a Drivers Cup Holder.

I'm not sure whether or not the existing facia panel ( where the cup holder would normally sits, can be removed and attached on to the new Drivers Cup holder cassette.....? ( I have Light Oak facia pabels)

If anyone can advise me on this and if they have a light oak drivers cup holder that would be appreciated.

I can collect , within reason !...I live in Reigate , Surrey.

Thanks,

John.

yes the fascia can be reused onto the cupholder.

But be prepared to pay upwards of £50 if you find one,

Yes, LHD car spare is your best bet I found when I was looking for one.
Honestly though, look at your knee position when you are driving, you're just going to get annoyed with it.

It's the one thing that is utterly useless on our cars. Doesn't hold travel mugs, gets in the way of the passenger knees, isn't very strong and the drivers side will hit you right in the knee.
Now, my Honda Accord has an awesome centre console cup holder that holds anything I have ever wanted to carry tea in. The only one that is worse is SAAB.

Yeah, come to think of it the Skoda Kodiaqs' cup holders in the middle bit are pretty much rubbish. Can of pop, fine, much else, no.

I've had drivers cup holders in both my previous ZTs and no issues using them, and they were manuals.

Look for them in a breakers, I got 3 for less than £5 each, much cheaper than eBay etc.
