metal thermostats

Hi Guys does anyone know if Kaiser is still supplying the metal thermostats as the plastic one on my wife's KV6 is leaking and it has only done about 9000 miles! I am reluctant to replace it with another bit of rubbish!

Perhaps it's the o rings being rubbed raw by movement caused by the incorrect positioning of a couple of clips

, or perhaps it's another load of Chinese tat masquerading as a quality part.

Either way I'd be inclined to have a fit and forget part, not made of flimsy poor quality plastic, but rather that of a quality item made of cast aluminium
