WANTED - SmartNav Screen
Hi folks, I have been thinking about trying to get my SartNav working on my ZTT. Mine does not have the full instrument warning system just the entry level one with the warning bulbs - hence, I would I believe need the additional SmartNav screen. It has the button on the dash and the speaker (which proclaims 'Guidance Not Active')
I need to check whether the rest of the kit is fitted I suppose but my guess is that if the speaker and button are there then the rest of the kit will be - just need a screen. Could somebody also tell me where I need to look please?! Many thanks, Rich |

If you haven't already done so you need to register the car with Smartnav and pay your subscription. Then it will work,no screen required.

It could well be.I have only seen one Tm system, that had a round switch on the dash with Tm symbol on it.Smartnav has the oval switch on the switch panel.

The standard MGR smartnav installation doesn't have a screen, just the aerial, ECU, speaker and switch.

I would be interested to know when Smartnav became a factory option. Many years ago at one of the national meets I met an elderly chap who had owned his very early car from new.If I remember correctly he was a former Longbridge worker. He told me that his Tm system was specified at new.
I have never seen this on any other 75 or ZT.As I mentioned above,it had a round Tm button on the dash.I can't remember seeing any other lights like the OP mentions. The switch location and shape should confirm if he has Smartnav.
