Default re-map

Hi
While the performance of my connie diesel 130 auto is adequate, how much difference will a 160 map make in day to day use, also is the textured coating on the bottom of the sills ordinary stone chip or similar.
Thanks again,
Roy

It will make it much more flexible and pleasant to drive with a nice shove if you put your foot down... Economy hasn't been reduced at all on mine and no issues after a couple of years with the map. It makes it feel like a much more modern car to drive!

Go with one of the guys on here, then you will know you are getting the right MAP not a copy of the 160 upgrade.

I don't know whom would be the nearest for you in south west Wales.

You could go for a postal 160 upgrade from one the guys Brian, Russ, Trikey, drop them a PM or they may see this.

I'm planning to get Kim remapped at some point.
Bear in mind there is a bit of prep to do first.
Clean intercooler, good turbo pipes, clean air inlet and fuel injectors, new air filter and engine oil. I think someone mentioned to check one of the sensors too but I can't remember which one.
Oh, and clean egr and pcv filter too.
Someone who has done it already made a list on another recent thread. Might be worth while going back over Mays threads to see if you can find it

Does Jules not do the remaps? I know he is north Wales, but might be worth a trip up to Colwyn Bay. Failing that,as has been said Marinabrian offers a postal service. ECU is easily removed from plenum chamber just slide the plug holder offoff, pull the plugs out , and remove the ecu.
