you must be pig sick, I would be. You have my sympathy.
This may seem heart less, but if you have the time and inclination the cars will bring you in money via bits if you break them. macafee2 |

That’s a sad site, I’ve managed to view the photos, you must be gutted.
It’s strange but while it’s nice to stay in certain areas we don’t realise until it’s too late when the water starts to rise up to our necks. Perhaps I’m lucky as I stay in a very scenic area in Ayrshire but being a village surrounded with farms it’s the muck on the road we have to put up with but never flooding like this. |

Hey, I know where you are, I drive past in my blue zt v6 most days. The flood was 30 inches higher than the last highest, nearly 30 years ago, according to one of my colleagues at the water works up the road.
You've my utmost sympathy, flooding is no fun, cars are the least of the issue, zts or no. I was away in Cyprus when it happened, rode my trike around there just after, weird to be riding UNDER the tide mark... You could salvage these, electricals and soft furnishings being the main issue - will you bother? Huw For anyone interested here's what it looked like from the West bank, the other side of the river:- https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ll...uzsOxOvvOrUkM: This one was two weeks ago:- https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ll...NVW2bNmuy8TRM: Ps, that pic is of the last flood, not this one, I think... A sad sight. Gutted for you Andrew.
I was working in Tewkesbury when it flooded.... crikey .... 11 years ago now! Terrible effect on the area for many months. Some insurance companies provided caravans to put in the gardens of houses flooded out for the folks to live in whilst repairs undertaken. Some dodgy repairs meant some folk were in them more than a year later.... Hope your home was OK. Good luck John

Sorry that you've had to go through this lot, and I'm sure you're not pleased with the current weather around your area?

That was a Series one the got washed down a South American river. It was submerged for a couple of months. Have you seen the Tiger Tank the was driven into a Russian lake by its crew after running low on fuel, during the German retreat from Russia at end of ww2. They pulled it out of the lake put clean fuel in and it started Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
