Xmas Carol Service
Me & me Dad are playing Violin again this year in Ken Dodd's Orchestral Xmas Carol service in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral (7.30pm Tonight).
Wish us luck as last year I couldn't stop chuckling during one carol thinking about Ken's funny Xmas stories. Think he had his 80th Birthday 2 years ago & there is no stopping him!

Well your going to have a night of fun. I saw Ken Dodd about 10 years ago and came out with aching sides he was so funny. Went on stage about 19:30 and at 23:00 he was still prattling on, people were leaving but he carried on - brilliant night.

I first saw Doddy in 1957 or 58, a few times in between and then last year. Same old jokes but still very entertaining. We got out at 12:45 am! He said it would be educational.... sure taught us a lesson.

I liked his, sniff sniff you smell that it's bacon cooking, we'll all be here till breakfast.
And as those who were walking out. You can see who have kids they've come to my show and not booked the baby sitter for long enough.

Ha yes you can see all the usherettes looking at their watches usually!
But last night had to follow a strict programme. All in a good cause for the Merseyside & Cheshire NHS trust. Ken did his 15 mins funny Xmas poems & the service ended on time cos the Orchestra have to get through all those popular Carols.
