Two passes in one day
It was quite a stressful day yesterday for me !
I had both my Zircon 75 and my SD1 Vitesse in for MOT as both are now sold. Ok the Zircon 75 had only done just over 2k since the last test but my Vitesse had been off the road for six years. Both passed with no advisories., plus part payment has been received on both cars. All this on top of getting the caravan ready for the Easter break. Today it a total chill out time with a nice wine followed by something stronger. Hope both cars go to a good home |

Hi Jim. Someone has got a good Rover Vitesse. Lucky devil. Hope they look after it after all your work you put into it.

Thanks Wullie
That was my first drive in the Vitesse in 7 years. You realise just how bad the roads are with the pot holes as the car has a very firm suspension (standard) It’s fine on the smooth surfaces but uncomfortable on the rough stuff. I was getting a few thumbs up by passers by as I drove along as it sounds great with the V8 burble. I was following the missus in the 75 then realised it has a dash cam so I overtook her on the way home to get a last shot of her before she goes to her new home next week. Both cars are headed south, the 75 is being picked up at the beginning of May. I will also be collecting my latest “special addition” run a round which I will reveal when I get it home. |
