Kirkcaldy Meet - Wed 11/05/2016

Hi guys

I thought I would try and start a new regular meet for us Scottish members. It may appeal more to the East and Central members but ALL members are welcome, no matter where you are from.

The location is in Kirkcaldy, Fife (30 min from Edinburgh, 45 minutes from Dundee, 50 minutes from Glasgow approximately).

Meeting time : Approx 6:30pm

Myself and Kevin (Kbonney88) have met up a couple of times lately and Kevin came up with the idea of making it a regular fixture.

We thought we could meet at the seaside in Kirkcaldy, where there is plenty of parking, especially in the evening and it is free. Hopefully, the weather will get warmer and make it a pleasant meet.

It's mostly to have a catch up and talk all things MG/Rover over a cuppa. There are plenty of bars and restaurants for coffee or food about a 5 minute walk away and a chippy about a 5 minute drive.

We thought about setting the date of the first meet on Wednesday 11th May, around 6pm or whenever suits. A bit different with it being during the week. A good excuse to go for drive after a stresful day at work and unwind with us all.

It doesn't have to be a late night. Coffee, maybe some food and of course, our fantastic company.

Midweek no good for me I'm afraid unless it's 10pm. Hopefully next time.

yes - hopefully, and will try to do a weekend one sometime too.. and treat you to some fish and chips..

anyway - yep I will be there... looking forward to the chippy tea

3 hour drive to get there so don't think so but if anyone is up for a meet in the Elgin area I'd manage that

You have a V8. You could get here in a fraction of that time.

ConfirmingAs this is a weekday, this would suit me OK.

If my dad hasn't got any trips to the surgery, I should be OK with this.

Just checked my Dad's appointments, he has none that day and being at 6pm would not impact on me anyway, so i will be there.
