Default How to start a Rover 75 with broken key fob

How to start a Rover 75 1.8t 2003 with broken key fob with just the metal part left to open the car and turn the start contact lock.
Pls. your advice.

Hello Jens,

To start the engine you will need the transponder which is a tiny black rectangular cube. It sits in a recess in the plastic key case.

If that has been lost you will need to buy a new complete key.
