Default Cable in floor under Passenger front seat.

Hi Everyone, could anyone tell me what the cable in the floor under the front Passenger seat is for. I have taken out the seat to replace it and find this cable unattached with a metal clip on the end. Many thanks Ken

It should be clipped to the seat frame. As the seat is moved back and forward it adjusts the height of the seat belt position on the B pillar. One under the driver's seat as well.
