Getting a fbh
On the weekend from a car thats being stripped, the seller is letting me remove it all which gives me an opportunity to see how it all fits.
So a couple of questions for you guys please. I assume the loom is separate and just plug and play. Is the dosing pump located at the rear where the cooling rad is, and is the wiring also plug and play? Anything else I need or forgotten? Thanks. |

The dosing pump fits on a bracket bolted to the rear of the drivers side floorpan.
If the car it is coming off is scrap, then cut through the rubber hoses rather than trying to get them off, as the chances are you will damage the pump. This comes from someone who made this mistake last year when retrofitting a FBH, and the dosing pump is rather expensive. |

The dozing pump is just in front of the rear offiside wheel, expect the bracket and pump to be rusty. The wiring for the plug is under the offside of the rear seat under a metal plate, just poke the wiring down under the car.
Yes plug and play but a tip, unless you are adding some form of function to turn it on manually, I would at least add an earthing lead to the plug that has the most pins. I wrote a How To to do this. Do not be surprised if the pcb is duff, Devilish or frenchmike can fix them. If you want a hand to fit it, pop over or if you need a multimeter, pop over macafee2 |

All the wiring should be on your car already, you will find the FBH wiring plugs in a plastic bag down the side of the battery, the dosing pump plug is just inside the rear fuel tank plate under the rear OS seat. 1 2 3 4 5 Pop the plug down past the filter to the underside of the car. 6 7 8 dosing pump bracket. 9 remove the blank pipe section the pump will fit into the two hoses. 10 11 12 Engine bay looking down the side of the battery for plastic bag. 13 14 Fuel feed from the fuel tank will have a blank plug in it also, down by the bottom of the fuel filter. 15 16 17 18 The rest is all coolant hoses, one should read FBH that is were the hose is cut. 19 Put clamps on hose either side before cutting. 20 Hope the pic help

probably but pop your bonnet and check for the two plugs tuck just inside the nearside wing, one will or should be in a plastic bag if it has never been used and then take a look under the car just in front ( a foot or two) of the rear wheel. should be a bracket two pipes and a bit of plastic between them. The two plugs will be close to being "inline" with the battery
