Clutch :((((
Hi guys, I have noticed today, that in 5th accelerating hard the clutch is starting to slip. Now I know the parts for this on my cdti are ludicrously expensive 😱
At the moment, I will simply drive round the problem. Im wondering if any forum members might have contact or knowledge of (more) reasonably priced clutch kits, for when it gets worse. Hopefully I’ll get a couple of months saving time 😊 Interestingly, the biting point, is not high, kicks in approximately half way of pedal travel. Hoping someone can help. Thanks guys |

check DMGRS web site and even Rimmers web site. What do you think is ludicrously expensive as I don't think they are.
Will you be changing it yourself? macafee2 |

I paid £88.00 for a Borg and Beck clutch kit - they have gone up a bit and are a tad under a oner now on Ebay, so still pretty good value.

Clutch
That’s great, I will give them a try
I only say I thought it was expensive (to me) because I thought it was one which Needed a fluid flywheel as well? And the complete clutch assy etc was 500+ As you can probably tell from my lack of knowledge, I definitely won’t be doing myself Thank you for your response Regards Steve |
