Help! Locked out of car
Hello Folks, I hope someone can help.
I got my car back from the garage just before Christmas and noticed that the key button lock wasn’t working. Ok - I could still use the key. I went to start the car yesterday and the battery was flat. I went to open the car today to put the battery on charge and the door won’t open with either key or on the button. The boot lock is bust so I can’t get in that way. Any ideas? Thanks Michael. |

Does the key turn in the lock? If not then could have been frozen or seized.
Open the bonnet as per bonnet pull cable from cabin snapped method. Do you have a tow bar? You may be able to charge the battery via the towing electrics. macafee2 |

Many thanks for the tips. The mechanism must have frozen. I tried it later several times and eventually the door opened so I have it on charge.
