Default Full chrome 75 grille- rip off? Help!

Hi,
I purchased what was described as a full chrome grille and it arrived today. To be honest it's plastic and the chrome finish (if it is that) looks pretty much the same as standard. The Rover badge looks silvery as apposed to the normal gold. I'm gutted. Never having owned one before i don't know the difference.
Can anyone advise?
Jim

They are a plastic grill but have a chrome effect. The "full chrome" has the chrome effect around the grill badge and the fins are chromed too as oppose to being grey plastic. Chrome over brass was my favourite! Shows how old I am!

Do you sleep with that one then, or just keeping it warm and dry for the summer!

Many thanks. I just found the old in the shed that I had (and was using for comparison) is also a full chrome grille hence why I couldn't spot the difference! Doh. Didn't realise I had one already. The one on my car is a standard one so I'll fit the best chrome one this weekend. Should look good. Thank guys.
