If this world was as it should be there could have been a few of us gathering today to enjoy the match and spend some social time together.
Take care

Yes, that would have been my plan too mate, the banter would have been brilliant!

Not so much in the BR days but certainly post privatisation. Post privatisation the amount of paperwork as evidence of a driver's competence rocketed. On train assessments, train data recorder downloads, rules examinations and now simulator runs.

Beginning to get a wee bit concerned. My mother was knackered with arthritis, I'm getting pains in both wrists and to a lesser extent, knees and hips, I frequently get fingers "locking", can't move them without using my other hand to free them up . . . . all are symptoms of arthritis. I'd see a GP but in the current situation can't get within 100' of a GP up here, telephone consultation is the best you can hope for.

Morning all, very hard frost here I just went into the greenhouse before to get a bag of grit and noticed a huge pile of soil under the bench. Further investigation led to a tunnel and a hole,I thought I know what that is. Bleddy rat,!! It’s attracted by the hen food, so I’m off to the chemist for some peppermint oil as rats hate that.

How do you get the rat to take the peppermint oil Continual problem with them here, attracted by dropped seeds under the bird feeders. Come from the museum/old mine next door. Haven't seen any for a while, not since I considerably reduced the population with the air rifle

I'm getting good at this predicting the score
In the meantime the latest lockdown puzzle is nearing completion.

I'll take my hat off to you for doing a jigsaw.

Not my thing at all.

But that's a good one with some proper motoring transport, a nice pub and a river for Quizzie to play in .

Used to do lots but just getting back into it again, has to be the right subject to keep me interested though. Gibsons do some great WW2 themed puzzles based on real art works..Here's the next in line.
