Part number on Rimmers is USA, Canada, Mexico only. Presumably adapted for their emissions regulations. Possibly a restrictor of some kind fitted If you're interested email Rimmers and see if they know what the difference is.

Inlet manifold
Dear Charlie
The inlet manifold in different than the one you need. These were for the North American market and have a different part number and different moulding where the throttle is attached. I did hear talk of someone producing an adapter kit for this particular manifold but despite asking and searching have yet to find out who was providing the kit. I had thought of buying one of these and taking it apart and using it to repair my old one!! Now there's a challenge!!! The metal version that someone has been developing seems to have gone quiet lately. Bob |
