Hope Georgie is soon on the way to recovery Steve. Did you know it's 'Dress up Dog' day today.

Mind you, I accept that it's more likely I'll have the phone to hand rather than the DSLR when something photogenic pops up in front of me.

I have the same Motorola G8 in my short list

I'm that bad I didn't even like dropping the girls at the groomers! During lockdown one we got a pukka grooming table, clippers etc and do then ourselves.

Remember years ago one of our Dachshunds was at the vets, I think it was teeth as well. My father dropped him off in the morning but I had to collect him as my folks were working. I didn't take a lead as I was expecting him to be all dopey and have to carry him, hell no! He was still stoned on the anaesthetic but was determined to walk out of there with some dignity! I had to use my belt as a lead.

Wee update on Carter Bar:

Morning folks - and what an 'orrible one. At lower levels, it's persistent rain, whereas up on the Moors it's white over with snow - a thoroughly unpleasant day/ Got a text this morning asking me to contact my GP and arrange the usual annual check-ups - diabetes and coronary heart disease. Should be an interesting set of test results - I haven't stuck religiously to my low fat/sugar/salt/etc. diet in the past year

Just buy a set of clothes 2 sizes too big and wear them at the Doctors, then you can say the lockdown caused you to get a bit overweight and as you can see Doctor, "the new diet is working because my clothes are falling off me"

Morning all.

Chucking it down here and predicted to do so for the rest of the day.

All the very best to Georgie. She'll be fine. And we're all big softies when it comes to our fabulous, furry friends .

I'm with Andy - lots of fab treats for the homecoming.

At this moment I've got my own, personal, foot warmer just lying totally chilled out having had such a hectic morning.... eating breakfast then snoozing .
