The original black droplinks from unipart were good quality but the silver ones are
not good

On the ones that I've changed the play has always been in the top balljoint. Think it's a poor design it just gets hammered, if the top joint had been the same as the bottom one and fixed to a bracket on the shock instead it would have even out the wear.

I hadn't seen TRW front droplinks made available for our cars, but these may potentially be better than the other aftermarket offerings to date?

I will be purchasing a set to test soon. TRW JTS1310

I’ve just fitted a couple of sets of corteco drop links, if they are as good as the bottom pulleys they make then I’ll be happy.

Had a look at my droplinks today after seeing this thread on the front page. Driver's side looked okay but on the passenger side, well...the word goosed comes to mind! Maybe explains my recent clunk.

Cringe I know I'm going to be slaughtered but.
£14 a pair in eBay
You can put new ones on ever 2 to 3 years at that price .
It won't affect the drive
They will last or fail . It all depends on where you live . All straight road's or lots of twisty roads with potholes .

When I bought my Trophy Blue ZT-T project, I purchased a cheaper set of front drop links.

They lasted 8 months without the car ever leaving the driver way as there was still a considerable amount of work for me to complete. The 'rubber' gaiters disintegrated.

Expensive landfill, not cheap drop links.
