You've got to admire the ingenuity of people living in terraced housing to find ways of charging their EV's.

Morning all - 'tis a bit warmer this morning, albeit grey and overcast. There's stll a few remnants of of the recent snow hanging around, and the forecast is for the white stuff to return later in the week.
Not a lot on today - have to take the missus to the hospital for her weekly session of physiotherapy and then nowt on

Inventive, but illegal! It is against the law to attach anything to a telegraph pole (and a lamppost before you get any more ideas!)

What about folk on their stag night? That was always a ritual to cable tie them to a pole somewhere.

LOL I saw another person in terraced housing where they'd hung the extension charging cable out of their bedroom window & onto a tree on the pavement & tied the cable around the trunk to his EV

Well missus is on a roll this morning with Virgin media, our broadband/tv.telephone contract is up & she's negotiated the same contract with more tv channels & £6/month less than we are paying now, That means the monthly mobile phone contract I'm getting 3GB data (more than enough for my needs) + unlimited calls texts will cost me nowt extra

The fly in the ointment are the bleddy electricity board, She rang them to make sure they're coming on the 21-22 January to upgrade our ancient electricity supply to modern standards as our daughter will have to make other arrangements as she's been working from home & the powers going to be off. The women on the other end who deals with this work knows nowt about it & she said You need to speak to so & so works dept, My missus you bleddy well wont pass me off to other depts on a fools errand you'll get this sorted out now. the conversation is still ongoing

After saying we know nowt about this job she said a team have been out this morning to your address (er no they haven't ) and couldn't gain entrance because you've got positive C-19 tests Can you bleddy believe this!!! They've sent them to the wrong address. This has been going on since the beginning of November last year.

On the estate where we lived as boys, half the street had the electricity supply via a plug into the street lights,
