Lovely year 2000 Connoisseur SE V6
With thanks to Darcydog for mentioning it in the Social forum, have a look at this gorgeous Atlantic Blue (I think?) Rover 75:
South Western Vehicle Auction, 26th March 2021 It's a family owned and cosseted beauty with extensive service history and a reassuring 78,000 miles on the clock; proof that a classic car auction is a serious choice for relatively modern vehicles such as this one, whether you're buying or selling. I hope that, in March, its new owner won't spoil its originality. Simon

Lovely - and one of the rarer last cars from Cowley with body coloured sills and bumper bottoms.

Lovely looking colour and would appear to have been well looked after, shame about the engine bay. Rev. |

Would I buy the car? What, with an engine bay that looks like a ploughed field? You bet I would............not. Been very well maintained I don’t think so. I wonder when the bonnet was last lifted up? Disgusting to say the least. Only takes a few minutes to keep clean if done every time it is washed. When was the air filter last changed, if ever.

The owner doesn't seem to have been mechanically minded so, unlike us, was probably frightened to open the bonnet. The interior and body look good though! Simon

Personally I love a dusty engine bay. Shows it has been needed too much work or been messed with.
And yep, lovely colour / nice leather.

"Sadly, this car has only come to market due to the death of the owner" Who knows how his health was before his death.....of course his wife could have lifted the bonnet and cleaned the engine bay! A little harsh in my view?? Excuse me I don't usually comment on other peoples thoughts and views but sometimes I find it particularly annoying. The previous owner, presumably due to his ill, only did 4000miles in the last five years. Rant over! |
