Default Corona Virus Vaccine

Without getting into any arguments I'm genuinely interested in the consensus of opinion

Unfortunately looking at the current priority list, I seem to fit in the 8th wave to qualify for the vaccine, so will be well into next year - maybe summer.

I wonder if once people are vaccinated they will stop wearing masks as they can no longer catch it - not caring about the people who are still waiting?

I do not believe any scientific body can reliably reassure us it that is safe from side effects further down the line having been rushed into production.I won't be having one, (just yet),although I do worry what refusal may prevent me from doing in other area's.Work, travel, shopping socialising etc.

The worry a lot of people have is it seems to have been rushed into production. I can understand why as the world is in a complete mess financially and all the worlds economies need stability.

I would like to know how much priority over testing compared with the speed of production has been used. It seems odd the German vaccine announced this week is ready a month earlier than the one that is supposed to be a front runner from the Oxford group.

Sadly I suspect they are happy to have a few people drop once vaccinated as acceptable losses, this compared with the amount of money being poured into the worlds economies to keep the majority safe will be small fry.

Being an Asthma sufferer I suspect I will be quite high up the list for an early jab but I am in no rush.

Personally I would like to know if I have already had it and if I have I would probably take my chances.

The concern will be if we will need to produce a vaccination certificate to be able to fly or travel in the future.

No thank you, no disrespect intended, but the development of this vaccine has been rushed.

Once it has been proven to be safe, and by that no long term adverse effects then perhaps, but given the balance of probabilities, for the time being I shall abstain.

With the possibility of even more lockdowns on the horizon, which will mean more periods of furlough and job losses, remembering that were all in this together maybe it’s about time that pensions were adjusted downwards so everyone is financial affected?

Little or nothing was said about men's pensions moving out from 65 to 66.

I have never understood why women retire earlier but on average live longer then men, logic dictates it should be the other way round.

yes, moving it to 63 would have been sensible along with reducing mens SRA to 63 also - we all believe in equality after all.
