Default Rover 75 2.5 Club SE Automatic

Hi Folks

My 75 is up for sale, as I am buying a 2003 Jaguar XJ6 3 litre Sport, the one with the aluminium body

I have owned the car since March 2007, and it has done a few miles since then, (from 43k to 84k now). Continental tours were done in 2007 and 2008 and this included 2 trips to Rome. It has been in full daily use or as the insurance companies say "social domestic and pleasure", and has only let me down when the battery gave up during the recent very cold winter.

Details of the car:

Year: August 2001
Engine: KV6 2.5 litre
Transmission: Auto
Trim level: Club SE
Colour: Wedgewood Blue
Trim is Grey speckle velour and light grey trim with real walnut dash
MOT: Valid to 26th May 2011
Road tax till end-June 2010

The body is in exceptional condition, with one or two very small dings on the nearside, and a scratch on the driver door from a Roman moped rider in the Rome rush hour. I could have rung his neck !!

All the goodies are as per a Club SE, but there is also

- 6-CD autochanger in glovebox
- Cruise control
- Walnut woodrim steering wheel
- Walnut gearshift stick
- full size spare wheel with new tyre

Full service history with me, (all bills and MOTs) and some of the previous owner

Cam belts were done by Lates in Feb 2009
New discs and pads done in late 2009 (rear) and 2010 (front)
New rear springs in 2009, (Lates spotted one was broken)
Tyres were all replaced in pairs during 2009. (BF Goodrich)
New battery fitted during the very cold spell in January/February

Price
I don't think it is unreasonable to ask £1750 as there are no significant maintenance jobs to do as the cam belts are now good for many miles (or years), and brakes have all been replaced. Incidentally the rear brake pipes are now in cupronickel as it failed MOT last year on brake pipe corrosion.
Offers of course will be considered. The car is in apple-pie order, Yes really !!

Phone number is 01270-585071 or PM me
Location - Haslington near Crewe

I will drive a reasonable distance for viewing if needed.
