Nothing interesting, tip run and then parked it up whilst I use the Fiat for a few days

Fitted new wiper blades from ebay. Very intricate fixing mounts that cater for all sorts of vehicles. Took a while to figure out the first one, second one done in seconds.

Picked up my new MG ZTT from Grantham yesterday, and had what could be called a "poseidon" adventure. Thank heaven for traction control.

fitted a new indicator lens and the "missing" horn. Surprisingly easy to remove the front bumper, had bought a twin horn loom and pair of horns and so was easy enough to swap over, once I figured how to get the bonnet switch out. Needed to swap a couple of clips and some sleeving but easy enough - just a few cuts and scratches trying to get it all in place... sounds much better now The pair of horns I fitted were Hella but the single one I removed was Fiamm so wonder if there was a change in part when they went to a single horn?
Polystyrene block on O/S cut out ready to go back. Whilst I've got the bumper off I'm also going to replace all the corroded screws that run across the front with stainless steel - took a while to find the right 'U' clips. The air intake ducting also wants replacing while I'm at it. |

Replaced a faulty door lock actuator, and immediately regretted the articulation required of my nearside elbow

Repaired my front headlamp level sensor which had a snapped arm. Lots of glue and a few cable ties to lash it together. Let's see if it holds.

Wired up a gsm remote (on the table - great for bench testing)
Cleaned and painted the dosing pump, all ready to fit now.

Swapped Mo and Kims steering wheel airbags. Also fixed Kims stuck bonnet catches. They were bolted on too tight
