Take it to Lates......
Trouble is nearest X-part centre is in Sheffield about 20 miles away from Tim. Nobody nearer found with a T4 up to press.

OK... but do they KNOW how to use it? They may be X-part, but I've found that my local ones know how to switch it on, but not much more than that! It took Lates to get the fine tuning done And that was one heck of a journey for me!!! But glad I did it... mind you, that was after the other garages finally got the car going......

That's the problem, there's no "friendly" adept people that we know of with a T4 in the surrounding area.

Stupid question maybe but you have tried the fuel cut off switch I assume (think we have one don't we ! ?)
By fuel filter assume you refer to the tank module in L/H side of tank (sorry didn't notice your model)

Sorry, jumped the gun. Went back and had another look at your first post

Tatts came round today, with his fault finder but it didnt show up anything

He told us about the good garage scheme, you put your postcode in, and it brings up garages that specialise in your car, in your area,
going to phone the one thats 10 miles away from us, see if they have T4 , then try to get the car there,if they do have that diagnostic machine, it says they deal mainly with landrover so not holding out much hope,

Sorry to hear that Tim
Bit late for you now but may influence other members in the future, & I've said this on numerous occasions I would recommend a Diesel Specialist every time as opposed to a T4 session.

Hope you stay in the fold.
Jules

she went to a diesel specialist, and they thought once theyd done the injectors, she would run ok, but no joy,
might have the chance to check her over with a T1, depending on how far away the other person lives
