Default My ZT Diesel

First pictureS of my ZT

This is how it usually looks

This is how it looks after tonight

Few little bits that need sorting out at only 42,000miles
  • Fan missing speeds so needing replacing (Thanks to Jules)
  • Clutch pedal sinks occasionally (Replacing Clutch,Master & Slave)
  • Alternator failed today and is not charging
Its an expensive month but the ZT will thank me for it

Gearbox all bolted back in and the car is sat back on its wheels

Need to fit Master Cylinder and re route all the wiring/pipework,replace fluids, bleed everything up and give her an oil change

Hopefully trouble free running for a few years now

Good for you

Looks like one heck of a job. Wish I was as competent or able to do what you have done there.

True..... But why do I always end up with more bits after putting things back together Then have to undo, to fit all the bits back, and then hope ?

I'm not that technically minded, I guess it's what you are used to doing.... Saying that, I used to strip and rebuild an Austin A30 gearbox and engine..... Things were easier then.........
