Hi all, i have dropped my zed by 30m. Had the original springs re-worked by that i don't mean cut. Re-worked then tempered & then powder coated black. £80 by a specialist spring company here in Sheffield.

Was that £80 in total, or £80 for lowering + the cost of fitting?

Looks great

How much did the insurance company charge extra for this on your premium?

Even though they are original springs they still classify as aftermarket modifications. Especially as the springs themselves have been modified.

Ah, they did the original spring uprated designs for the BRM and all the ZR/ZS/ZT cars actually. Ive been in contact with them before, great company and good to work with.

They can also supply the springs from new.

I noticed the "drop" at the last Yorkie meet, Glen. Couldn't do it on mine though, have enough trouble with the front spoiler catching as it is.
