Surely T4 is just knock off software that can be installed on any laptop?
It's only a program.

The software can but the the T4 is hardware. Without it you can't do jack

Not sure what you mean by knock off, but Omitec still charge a lot for the latest discs. However I seem to get different amounts each time I ask. Last time was approx £350!

Buying it is not really the main issue if you have the money,its knowing how to use it,and read it that counts.

Yes, I suppose you could if you wanted, but DTC4002B @ £1800+vat, DTC 4008B @395 +vat, and DTC00065A @ £132+ vat as a minimum for the 75

Omitec have had plenty of my money over recent years. I find their tech support very helpful though

It should link you to the Alibaba site where they sell counterfeit T4s as 'T4 Plus'. Doesn't the link work for you? Anyone?

The OE T4 PLUS which I have is made by Omnitec and does all the diagnostics and it works on my V8 which many wont do.
