As you say Phil, disappointing but minor inconveniences compared to getting your health sorted out.

How are you going to manage with the pacemaker on the flight if you have to switch off all electrical devices on the airplane

LOL I've not had enough of the new suspension software on the class 142 yet, It's very realistic

The only reason we're having pizza with a few chips tonight is because it wouldn't fit in the freezer.

Talking of suspension reminds me of the time a class 20 had to work a passenger service from Carstairs to Edinburgh. Passenger services coming up the west coast used to split at Carstairs, front portion carried on to Glasgow, rear 5-6 coaches were diesel hauled to Edinburgh. Edinburgh portion was normally worked by a 47 that had arrived on the previous service from Edinburgh. Driver went to the holding sidings to get the 47 for the Edinburgh portion started, wouldn't start. Only other thing at Carstairs was a class 20 so it was pressed into service for the Edinburgh portion. Carstairs to Edinburgh is a hard climb for several miles to Cobbinshaw then downhill into Edinburgh. I spoke to the driver afterwards, he said going up the hill it was so slow you could have got off for a pee and got back on, once it got over the hill and built up to its maximum 75mph it rocked and rolled so badly it was occupying both lines.

Morning all,

It's a bit windy out there today.

Off to Braintree for work this morning. Probably my last day of work before Christmas.

Catch you all later

What a miserable day, It's dark as night with horizontal rain. I'm doing some cooking.
