Default Autumn Boating

Lady Emma had her new BSS (Boat Safety Certificate) yesterday.
She passed with flying colours so today we took her out for a day on the rivers.
It was a bit windy but the sun was shining and we had a great days cruising

Lovely end to the day and all tucked up on her berth at our Marina...

Had my BSS last year, at £185 it had gone up by £45 since the last one in 2017. It's getting harder to find an examiner too, as the older examiners retire no new blood seems to be coming along, apparently getting qualified is so expensive that it's not worthwhile.

We have always used the same chap but like you, we found out he retired earlier this year.
Luckily he put us in touch with another local examiner who is equally well regarded.
I did notice the cost has gone up quite a bit in the intervening four years

Still, I don't see anything much coming down in price these days !

Your boat looks like it’s been painted in the newest picture.
