Default Too low?

Hi guys , I have an 05 75 classic , I have had the car a few months now and everyone who get into the car comments on how low it sits to the ground , the car has little over 80k so I don't suspension could be knackered , any thoughts ?

They are quite low in any case but maybe worth checking the springs?

If you've got cracked rear springs, then it could be sitting low at the back. At the front, diesels can get pretty saggy with age.

The 75 does sit low, Mine has less ground clearance than my MG tf 160!!

The standard ground clearance between the 'axles' is six inches (6.1").
The sills should be horizontal.

My 01 Connie diesel sat very low and would ground out on spead humps and kerbs. My mechanic said the front springs were weak.

Onwards and upwards. MGZT-T MK1 front and rear ends fitted, specialist- components in line thermostat mod done, retro fitted cruise control, Mk1 real wood dash fitted, real walnut steering wheel fitted, Pioneer DAB radio fitted.

I had nearside spring break the other day,had a new one fitted.Noticed a big difference in height of front end so had new spring fitted other side.

I've always thought they do hug the ground pretty close and I've had all 4 springs replaced since I have had "the Mighty Rover"
