16" alloys with good tyres
Hi I am new to the Forum and have just bought a Rover 75 CDTi auto tourer with 16" alloys - I am not sure of their name. They are all in very good condition with no kerbing as far as I can see. All the tyres have 5mm of tread so plenty of life left in them.
I am based in Hampshire so due to the weight it would be best to pick them up but I could arrange carriage but it is likely to be about £10 a wheel Reason for wanting to sell is I fancy upgrading to 18" alloys Judging by the prices on here I should be looking for about £260.00 for the four Last edited by texas2201; 21st March 2011 at 15:16.. |

Priced too high perhaps?
Also the 4 tyres aren't a matching set (Infinitys, Millenium and Event) so that may put potential buyers off? Good luck selling. |

these wheels are known simply as 16'' multi spoke alloys, fitted to some contemporary models, not often seen.
what are the tyres fitted to these, are they a matching set? perhaps get a price in mind including delivery, could help with the sale.. |

Cheers Guys
As you said not a matching set of tyres 2 infinity and two different ones but all with over 5mm of tread carriage will be about £10 a wheel or could be delivered at cost If I got 230 - 240 plus carriage I would be happy - otherwise I will just leave them on the car until the tyres run out cheers Martin |

hi Martin.welcome to the club.
please dont be offended this is just my opinion. these are probably not the most desirable of wheels tbh. and as said above 4 odd tyres wont help. good luck. tam. |

No Problem/No offence - personally I think they look better than the Unions - but everyone to their own Ta Martin |

And sometimes a pic of them on the car speaks many words..... I can't remember seeing these on a Rover 75, sorry.
And as far as price goes, quite high when you consider I've seen Unions go for quite a bit less, and as you say you don't think are as nice, there I think you are in the minority. You would be maybe luckier putting them on Ebay advertising them just by size and by what other cars they might fit. And as Tam says, this is not meant to offend, just trying to answer your question about lack of offers...... Good luck.

Thanks - I will try ebay - I sell lots on there
but I reckon I will be sticking with them as this is a workhorse and just replace the tyres when they wear out do you know what other cars they fit? Am I correct in that they are 5 X 100 with an offset of 40? cheers Martin |

Hi Martin, I know they fit quite a few cars, but this link to chart might help: http://www.carpartfactors.com/alloywheeltechchart.htm
Thanks.
