Default CLANDON PARK CLASSIC CAR SHOW 9th JULY

SECOND POSTING AS A REMINDER OF THIS CLASSIC CAR SHOW 9th JULY

CLANDON PARK CLASSIC CAR SHOW, GUILDFORD, SURREY.

It has been agreed that this and future Clandon Park Classic Meetings will be dedicated to `Alanjay` who passed away recently therefore all future Clandon meeting will be known as " ALANJAY`S ANNUAL MAMORIAL MEETING"

As I put to members a few meetings ago, we have been offered a pitch at this years Clandon Park Classic Car Show on Sunday 9th July 2017, the show is in order of the Macmillan Cancer Nursing Ass. Although in theory our cars are not classics they are future classics and the organisers of the show have accepted we are the proud owners of a British Made Prestigious vehicle and would be pleased if we can attend, I would like to see a mixture of 6 x 75`s and Zt`s, if not 6 then a minimum of 4.

Before I go ahead there is a couple of points I would like you to commit too, they are;

Would you be prepared to exhibit your car?

Would you be prepared to commit your self to spending the day at the show?

The show is open for visitors from 10.30am until 4.30pm, I would like to arrive at 9am to set up the pitch, once we have set up the pitch you will be committed to staying all the time the show is open, I would like to submit our application as early as possible to ensure we get a good pitch.

We will be attending under the club banner, as it will not be a official meeting the club insurance system will not apply.

WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A COUPLE OF Zt`s TO JOINS US-COME ON YOU MG Zt OWNERS PUT YOUR NAME DOWN

Let me be the first to commit;
John Howard..............BRG Saloon Mk 1
Dawn & Jules.............Silver LWB Rover 75 Connoisseur.
Keith24's....................MG Zt 180 X Power Gray
Teflon...................... Lagoon Saloon PF03 ZTV
Flying Banana............ZT 1.8t. Bright Yellow
Nobbys..................... Mk1 Tourer White Gold? RJ02 GXK

All going well we have our 6 front row cars, I am emailing the organisers to let us have more spaces for the cars that wish to attend.

ANY CLUB MEMBER OR NON CLUB MEMBER CAN COME ALONG TO THE SHOW --WE WILL BE PLEASED TO SEE YOU -- DON`T FORGET TO BRING A SEAT

Default Clandon Park Classic Car Show

Okay folks all is well...I have had confirmation from Barry the event organiser to say he has left us plenty of room to set up our gear and put out cars.
Therefore it is all systems go and should prove to be a good day out and put us in good stead to know how and what we need to set up next year.
Pleased to know that Keith is exhibiting his car, that means we have 6 cars for the front row of all different spects, 4 75`s and 2 Zt`s .

Please remember this in memory of Alan, our good member that left us resonantly.....

Should anyone have anything to add that may be of interest or help in making it a memorable Showtime then please feel free to let us know...
Regards
