[QUOTE=Keith;10168]Yep
Each door and boot latch mechanism contains an integral microswitch. When a door or the boot is open, the microswitch contacts are closed completing an earth path to the BCU.QUOTE] Thanks everyone....my questions are now answered and solved......leaky boot was solved by applying some silicone bumper restorer to the rubber to make it seat better and a little gentle persuasion given to the position on the lip. Boot light query was my curiosity and wondering if it had ever led to flat batteries....but of course if it operate with the door micro switches it will extinguish at the same time. Thanks you all
