Do check the body trim fixings though as I've just discovered that my car was leaking from\here as well as the light seals. Remove the trim on the interior sides of the boot and you will see litle \black clips which hold the body trim on, 2 of these were slightly out of position on mine. Pouring water on the exterior trim caused water to run into the boot, down the side and into the spare wheel well. I repositioned the clips slightly and smothered them with silicone to seal any gaps. No water ingress since.

Excellent advice . Mine suffered from the same problem , and when I sprayed water from a hose over the trim i was amazed how much water came through into the boot ! Do check them

hey people,
with your advice in hand i found the leak? those pesky seal around the rear light cluster!!!! it is now fixed & the fish in the pond have had to be re homed.lol. thank you to all who gave me advice I SALUTE YOU.
