I believe the engine should be running and in 'P' when the level is checked.

Thanks Matt, 4.7 from the drain and probably 300ml from solenoid cover. I was in N with car running .May have another go today in park just for piece of mind.

dont forget before you check the leval with the brake on go throu each pos on the gear selector
