I can't eat kidney, or liver for that matter. Its the texture not the taste. I blame a lot of my picky eating on school dinners back when everything was cooked to the point of destruction, veg was soggy mush, meat was like leather. No matter how disgusting it was the teacher stood over you until you finished it

Its not the taste, its the texture, the offal in haggis is finely minced so you don't get the texture.

I went for a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), rather than the topline models. I can't tell any difference except the price is about £500 less, which is a significant amount for not a lot.
I've never gone onto a contract for a mobile and use GiffGaff pay as you go because I hardly make any calls or texts and mostly use it on the house wifi or for data whilst travelling. Over the 3 years since I bought the A5 my GiffGaff bill has totalled £339 an average of £9.41 a month.Spreading the cost of the phone over those 3 years adds a further £8.33 a month, though the phone is still fine and hopefully will last many more years. That's £17.74 a month overall and I doubt any contract will be that cheap.

A funny tale about kidney.
Many years ago I was working for Access credit card in Southend. My boss was the Deputy Chief Exec and he and the Chief had to organise a dinner for the annual Mastercard convention which was happening in London that year. They decided on a menu that was supposed to be 'typically English' and included steak and kidney pie as the main course. What they'd not realised is that kidney is offal and most Americans won't eat it. Most of the delegates were from US banks and card issuers and they weren't happy at being served something they just wouldn't eat. Red faces all round.

To me kidney has the consistency of a pencil eraser, liver has the consistency of an ink eraser.
