Good morning all, a word of thanks to Andy, Ian, Jeff and my friends for your kind thoughts and wishes. There has always been a lot of support during those difficult days when it is needed, thanks guys for reaching out even though some of you have your own problems to contend with.

Today, the opposition leader in Kenya has called for a national strike and protests against rising prices. This morning I am taking the staff member to the clinic to see the doctor about his epileptic seizures. I am hoping there won’t be any trouble getting him to be seen. In 2007, over 1000 people were killed in the riots and 250,000 people were displaced through losing their homes. If it wasn’t for the appointment this morning, I wouldn’t be going out. If I see trouble along the way, I will turn back and take him another day.

What is everyone up?

Midlands weather must have been really hit and miss yesterday. Met Office forecast said it was going to be chucking it down. It didn't. . We had the odd bit but nothing to get us all hiding in the tea room. But on the way home there were roads that were all but flooded .

Photos from Trebor here: https://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/...2&p=9693#p9693

Off to work in a bit - I'll bet it's rammed with folks (blokes!) buying flowers and chocolates for Mothers Day. Then MIL round for dinner later on.

Take care everyone.
Good morning Andy

Thank you for your good wishes and for Rob’s photos from the Nano, a few familiar faces and the shots of Quizzie are appreciated. They are lucky they had the use of your generator and tools. Over the years I was invited but never managed to get to get there, but I know they are eager to teach people to carry out their own repairs and are mostly a great bunch of guys and gals

Andy, is it at Tesco’s you are working? When I was 16, I did a job at Tesco’s stacking shelves and learning butchery - that was fun and although I didn’t like working in the freezer, I learned a lot, all for the princely sum of £10 per week, happy times.

Have a great one

Thank you Steve for the thank you button which I will try.

Your mum was a beautiful lady who would have been proud of your achievements. You’re a good lad to have paid a tribute to her.

Good morning Richard, whatever you do, don’t place all of your hopes in one basket, but you are going to be tested for the next steps: getting through your operation and getting through your recovery and rehabilitation. Remember, the surgeon and his team will have carried out the operation hundreds of times, so you will be in safe hands.

All the very best.

Morning all.

Morning Phil - It's Morrison's I'm at. Yes, my predictions came true. Absolutely rammed yesterday. It was like Christmas all over again for the first 2-3 hours and not that much more sensible after that. Back in again this afternoon and hopefully it'll be "steady" which is OK.

Good luck with the weather for the photo shoot, Jeff. . PS. Who's Ron Jeremy .

Take care everyone.
