OK, maybe I am too late but I did find an antenna with wire up to 7 meter:

Have a look. Maybe the antenna behind the rear seats is not so difficult to achieve

Fine find!
I may have a rethink, no problem.
But I'm less keen to order to Aliexpress (never done) and not that happy with the shipping time: 3rd of May!
Thank you nevertheless. I'll try to have a go on another platform provided I can have a good length i.e. 7m.

Well I took a plunge today within the dash, car standstill inside the garage.
I took off the Erisin to have a look behind.
And I tried to extract the bl..dy aerial.
I tell you that the 3M tape is very very strong: very tough job it was.
But I succeeded not without breaking an old screwdriver!

Then I put the aerial on the dash while having an eye on the TPS test.
Better reception indeed but not enough in the first place.
Then I stretch the wire to put the aerial on the rear shelf which is very close to the sliding doors (my garage width is 4.90m!).
Hurray! The satellites in view were more and more numerous and the 3D Fix arrived!
Then just to be sure I put back the aerial on the dash just below the windscreen and the 3D Fix remained.

Now where am I?
I've got only 3m of wire and I can't find say 5m (that may be enough) on the web but at aliexpress I don't want to deal with. Every wire everywhere is usually 3m long.
I'm a practical man and I don't want to catch an headache with too long a path.
Hence my next job is to find the best way behind or below the dash and going either above the steering wheel or on the dash.
The easier the better.
IMHO it will not be an aesthetic drama to put a tiny black aerial close to or upon a nearly black dash.
Mind that the aim is efficiency.

To be followed...

Ali works well but nowadays shipping is sometimes a bit slow It was given as an example that antennas with longer wires are available online. You would probably be able to find it on ebay.fr or your national preferred platform.

On the other hand... it's May before you know it

EDIT: I missed your last reply. The antenna is working so an extension cable could just do the job for you. You will enough space behind the plastic moldings to hide the sma connection. For those jobs I use tooling such as this:

Yes I know! Ali but you should be able to find it locally

I'm not at all convinced that a tiny black box on a sandstone beige shelf would be very smart and discreet...
And it's obvious that Erisin GPS aerial doesn't want at all to be kept hidden...
I'm after the best possible signal.

I missed your last "Edit"...
I already have those plastic tools but anyway I'm so relieved to see that my GPS aerial is well working but a bit capricious that I don't want to find any more complicate job and any more hassle.
The result is paramount: why going back painstakingly to the rear part of the cabin when it's fully simpler, suitable and workable in front of me?

I'm a kind of simpleton you know...

Well... I completely understand! We have explored all possibilities and after that you have made the best choice for your situation. Good for you!

I hope and trust the new position of the antenna will help enjoying the Erisin even more

Well it's done and well done!
And I don't feel ashamed by the result.
IMHO hardly noticeable from inside as you can see and not that disgraceful from outside.
Apart at the very beginning on the dash the wire is absolutely invisible down to the back of Erisin inside the dashboard.

BTW as I'd stupidly condemned one of the 2 USB wires in the first place, I took the opportunity to pull it along its twin sister so that I can connect now the WiFi small box in the glove compartment below along with my phone without using the cigar lighter any more.
Killing two birds with one stone as one says.

And now even in the garage it works fine: 9 to 12 satellites visible and 3D Fix in 5 minutes the first time and switching on the car and the Android again after 10 minutes the 3D Fix happened immediately!
You cannot imagine how I'm relieved and happy now ...

Excellent! Looks totally unobtrusive!

Glad you got it sorted the way you wanted it! Happy motoring!

(I am sorry for the second bird which was hit by that stone though )

It was my lucky week because apart from the GPS aerial in the 75, I've swapped the old 48mm alloy TB in the missus 25 for a 52mm one (1.8 VVC & Lotus). The result of the latter is so gobsmacking that even my better half did notice the now punchy accelerations! Miraculo!

Last challenge: glueing once more some parts of the roof liner thanks to a special method...
If that works fine I'll do the trick on the 75 textile door trims which looks bloating slightly after 24 years (but not the roof liner so far...).
