Default Getting away

Well as we will soon be able to get away we are going to Black Knowl in the New Forest on the 12th for one night just to give the motorhome a run out, if everything works then we will be making plans to take the grand children away some like walking in the Brecon Beacons, the younger ones like the beach so Burnham - on - Sea hear we come.

Yes Steady Eddie the 12th is rolling day. We are heading to the Northumberland coast for a week or so, cannot wait. The camper van is ready.

We are hoping to come to the lakes in our motorhome for long weekends, we have been regular visitors since discovering the beauty of the fells in 2007 always had family holidays in cottages took the motorhome to Seathwaite to do Scafell pike 2 years ago the weather was gorgeous the views were fantastic but the midges were out in force in the camping field my son and I suffered very badly.

Hopefully we will be able to start using the motorhome a lot more this year ours is an Autocruise Impala she is now 22 years old but still in good condition always goes straight through the mot. Just checked the Sammy Millers website looks like they are reopening in May. When you start looking for a motorhome buy yourself a damp meter check around skylights door and window frames, even some new motorhomes suffer damp issues. There are various different layouts try to visualise what it would be like in use. Also check the date on the tyres as the side walls perish long before the tread wears out. If the Gross Vehicle Weight is over 3,500 kg a c1 entitlement is needed to be able to drive it. Wish you luck in finding the right motorhome.

We have a week away booked in June, got the last pitch on a CL. There is an open air concert near Bournemouth, Kings Park?, 2 years ago it was in Pool so we will be travelling down with the caravan and also seeing friends. Staying near Sway.
Once we have set up all I'll want to do is sleep, a two hundred mile tow with the caravan leaves me tired.

Lets hope we all have great weather

Well we had pleasant stay at Black Knowl the site was immaculate. We had a good 8 mile hike through the forest, on Tuesday we went to Keyhaven had a good 5 mile walk around the salt marshes.
