Default Insurance Renewal !

"Your renewal price: £179.99
Last year's total: £190.44
We hope you're happy with your renewal price and stay with Halifax Car Insurance for another year. However, it's important that you review all of the details and ensure that the policy still meets your needs. You may be able to get the insurance cover you want at a better price if you shop around."

Wow! There's a surprise!

Mine went down to sub £200 this year .. A drop of about £40 and that's with business use included.

Just gone on to the Halifax site, started out okay at £188 pounds then by the time they had added on the extras, landed up at almost double you lot must have blue eyes.

My insurance is now... cheaper than it was before. Not saying much.

£1300 for 8000 miles this year which isn't much more than a little fiesta would be for me.

Last year it was £3000 for 5000 miles.

Price to pay for being a young driver I guess.

The current Halifax insurance is low cost compared with others but is also not feature rich. This may or may not be an issue depending what you want from your insurance for a specific car. I have one car insured with Halifax.

Do make sure to compare like for like when choosing between insurers.
