So today checked the car to find the leak in the boot, and someone had drilled a hole in the bodywork under the plastic trim at the top of the drivers rear light.
Don't know why they did this......so I need to fill the gap as water was pouring into the boot, when it was raining. Places some foam over the hole for now and re set the light.... See how it goes.....

Collected her from the body-shop after repairs needed for her MOT, then back to the testing station for the certificate to be issued. Next MOT due 01 December 2021.

Alf Best - I echo your remarks regarding John. He did the work to get my 75 though her MOT, and what he doesn't know about Rovers is hardly worth knowing.

Changed a drop link (split rubber) and a track rod end, ready for the retest this week now.
Weirdly I ordered a track rod end from Rimmers and they shipped the wrong side! When I went to remove the part from the car it felt fine, had a look at the other side to find that slightly worn with a yellow mark from the mot pen. Great service from Rimmers, they know what parts to send even if the mot guy doesn’t know his left from his right 🤣🤣
