There is not a single wiring diagram for the Tailgate, you have to search for the appropriate diagram such as heated rear screen, rear wiper motor or number plate lamps, lock.

What is your problem area?

Default problem area

My glass opens from outside but my tailgate doesn't open from the outside switch, I can hear the microswitch activating, but doesn't;t unlock?
Any suggestions?

In August i had the problem of non opening tailgate - on searching the site i came across this advice which worked.

Insert a screw driver under the rubber grommet in the tailgate handle and give it a twiddle around - saying that when i did it the grommet came away - after a few seconds there was a series of multiple clicks and the tailgate was fine - some sort of reset? I then had to re-position the rubber grommet - to date its fine.

You are aware there is a manual emergency release for the tailgate in the warning triangle compartment ? You would of course have to access from over the back seats.

Possibly a broken wire where the harness enters the main body.

Or corrosion on the connector plug in the top of the tailgate

Hi - all the wiring diagrams for the 75 and ZT can be found on the RAVE Disk - worth getting one as it also has all the maintenance procedures as well - only a tenner plus postage to Aussie - Rimmers are selling them see below - you need a device that has a disk player - if you have windows 10 you need a work round to open it which you can find on this site. - windows 8 version or lower are OK.

Also see last 2 posts on this - the guy in question did the same as i did in August albeit with his fingers as opposed to a screwdriver.

I've already posted a link to Rave in PDF format in this thread, no need to buy anything! I'm sure people don't read these threads properly!
