Diesel Fuel Bar.
Every few week the car coughs and splitters.
What I've been doing is disconnecting the wires that plug into the fuel injection bar spraying with contact cleaner waiting till dry then plug it back in again and I'm good for another few weeks. Question is:- what do members this the under lying problem is? It's ok cleaning every few weeks but that is only a short remedy.

Have you also cleaned the plug connection on the end of the fuel rail, done a leak back test maybe, sometimes the wiring can have an hairline crack in the wiring, therefore working intermittently, and work at irregular intervals; not continuously or steadily.

When I clean the connector I also spray cleaner into the plug as well.
