Default Faulty air con solution

I've been over 3 years without air con despite seller assuring me that it was in perfect working condition and ice cold at the time of purchase.

I've been a long time getting round to getting it fixed as I've spent money on Jules fixing other items plus ongoing maintenance and routine repairs before forking out a small fortune to have the A/C fixed.

However, today whilst still saving up for an assault on the A/C components I've compromised with a quick fix.

£10 in Lidls almost identical to this item on Amazon

I've seen these about for some time now and laughed about them but for a tenner thought why not give it a go with no real expectations, be handy for the house during these extremely hot days instead of our oscillating tower fan which as you'll know gives a lovely blast of cool air for a few seconds before moving on to give others in the room a quick blast before you again.

So took the plunge and it's brilliant, both in the house and as on the move air conditioning while driving in a mobile oven.

Give it a go in an emergency air/con breakdown situation

I actually bought one of these yesterday and I'm wearing it right now. I also put an almost identical post on a different 75 page. Great minds think alike or so they say.

I'm thinking of buying a second neck fan to use when this one needs a charge

Yup its absolutely great.

It was boiling in my house last night even with the windows open. Popped my new 75 auxiliary A/C neck fan on and instant cooling. Every time I took it off the heat just instantly blasted over my face.

My other half has commandeered it this morning after initially laughing her head off when I proudly demonstrated my new purchase after arriving home from Lidls.

Looks like I'm going to have to fork out another tenner for one for her.
